Naoto Kato
Naoto Kato researched Cosmology and Quantum Computers at Kyoto University Faculty of Science. After dropping out of graduate school, he spent about three years as a recluse. In 2015, he founded a startup, "Cluster" which made full use of VR technology. In 2017, the VR platform "CLUSTER", which can host large-scale virtual events, was released. Currently, it has evolved not only regarding events, but also as a metaverse platform where users can gather with friends and post online games with their favorite avatars. In 2018, he was elected "30 UNDER 30 JAPAN" in the business magazine "Forbes JAPAN". Additionally, he was selected as one of the top 20 of the 2022 "Japanese Entrepreneur Ranking 2023". He has authored "Metaverse Good Bye to the Age of Atom" (Shueisha/2022)
